RG has hired Joyce Smith as property manager – office portfolio.

Smith brings more than 30 years commercial real estate experience to RG Properties. Her passion for the industry is proven with her role as an adjunct professor at The University of Cincinnati and Cincinnati State, instructing and developing courses in real estate principles, property management, and LEED for facility managers.

Smith has earned several professional designations in the field, including: LEED AP (Accredited Profestional), CPM (Certified Property Manager), RPA (Real Property Administrator) and CPCU (Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter). She also is a licensed Ohio real estate broker.

Smith graduated from Cincinnati State with a double major in real estate and property management and Thomas More College with a bachelor’s degree and an MBA. She considers herself a life-long learner.

As property manager, Smith’s roles include the property management of the Austin Landing office buildings and overseeing maintenance, operations, contract services and leasing renewals for the office portion of the project.

“We are happy to have Joyce as a part of the RG team and look forward to watching her flourish in this new role,” said Bo Gunlock, vice president of asset management.

Showing our appreciation with coffee and bagels

The team from RG Properties played host to a Coffee and Bagel event Friday May 4 in the lobby of Austin Landing I. The event took place as a tenant appreciation event, thanking the current office tenants of the building for helping to make Austin Landing a great place to work.

More than 150 gourmet coffee drinks and fresh fruit smoothies were served by Coffee Caboose Owners Jenny and Tony. Coffee drinks included Cappucino, Raspberry Chuckle, S’more Latte, Zebra Mocha and Chai Tea, among several other creative offerings.

However, with the weather heating up in the region, smoothies were the drink of choice, as people were lining up to order their favorite flavors.

A variety of gourmet bagels and muffins, as well as a variety of cream cheese, were available as well, from My Favorite Muffin.

Turnout was great, and RG is vigorously working to host more great events throughout the development as the Austin Landing community grows bigger and better every day.
